The GR1 operator TNT will stop the air broadcasting of channels of France Télévisions on the satellite Eutelsat 5 West A 0
France 2 France 3 France 4 and France Ô are broadcast via satellite for over 11 years. intended specifically for supply of DTT transmitters (including the multiplex GR1) the broadcast was also an opportunity for thousands of people to receive the French public channels with a simple free satellite decoder. This mailing also retreivable TV channels in bouquets Fransat Bis TV and Orange.

As of the end of November 2016 it will be over !! Indeed operator GR1 and France Télévisions change broadcast standard. This will no longer be compatible with the consumer equipment. Thus the French public channels are no longer available via satellite.

To ensure continuity of its DTT satellite service Fransat will route to another frequency chains deFrance Télévisions but for all those who received the chains France Télévisions with a satellite receiver FTA will require changing decoder to switch to Fransat or choose a another reception mode such as TNT (if available at the place of receipt).
